Practical information for the Speakers

This information is sent per email to ‘corresponding authors’. If the ‘presenting author’ is someone else than the corresponding author, please make sure that this information is passed on to the presenting author.

Registration to the Conference

All speakers have to register to the Conference. Please do so as soon as possible at
www.ccs-conference.com / registration

Presentation

• Length of presentation: 15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes of discussion.

• Confidentiality:  Mind that the Conference is an open venue and no confidential data from your projects should be presented. Make sure that the information is public and confirm this with your project partners.

• Presentation format:

  • Make the oral presentation as a Power Point presentation, alternatively an Adobe Acrobat (pdf) presentation.

  • Avoid links from your presentation file to other files, e.g. movies. However, if needed, these additional files must be zipped into one single file, with the same name as your presentation, but with the file extension “.zip”.

  • To avoid big files, please make sure to compress the figures in the file before saving the document (see Guidelines).

  • Please check conference program on the website to make sure that your presentation title and name is correct. (link to programme).

•  Before your session starts it will be possible for you to familiarise yourself with the AV equipment. A cordless presenter/laser pointer will be available for your presentation.

• Presentation name: All presentations must be saved by the name, example: (Session 1) S1_project name_title of presentation_last name presenter.

• Submission of presentation: Submit your presentation by e-mail to: decarbit-conference@sintef.no.

• Deadline for submission: No later than 2008-01-26.

Mini CV (curriculum vitae)

Please send us your mini CV together with your presentation. The CV will be used by the Chairman when introducing the speakers.

Publication of the presentations

The presentations will be published 14 days after the Conference on the Conference web site (www.ccs-conference.com). You will need a password to enter the presentations. The password will be given to all the participants of the Conference. Others will be charged 50 € to get access to the web page.

Conference dinner

Mr Nils A. Røkke would appreciate if you could join the VIP table reserved for Chairmen and Speakers at the Conference dinner on the 10^th of February. Please ask for detailed information at the reception desk during the Conference.
